Spoil your Dog rotten this Valentine's Day!

1. Start the day as you mean to go on. Serve his kibble in a perfect heart shape!

2. Or why not get him a lovely heart shaped food bowl - so he can remember just how much you love him every breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of the year!

3. Bake him a lovely heart shaped dog cake!

4. Buy him a Valentine's Card from the shops and spread the inside with peanut butter and sliced banana before you seal the envelope. He will be sure to get the message even if he can't actually read a single word.

5. Take him for a long walk in his favourite park and hide some heart shaped dog biscuits for him to find along the way. If your dog park is full of hungry dogs, your back yard might be a safer bet though!

6. Choose a dog friendly restaurant and bring your pooch along to your Valentine's Dinner. Dress code is super cute of course so you might want to shop for some Valentine's Dog wear.

7. If your dog is white or cream coloured, first apply some red lipstick and cover him in kisses so everyone can see just how much you love him! (Don't forget to wash it off afterwards!)

8. Get him a new dog collar with hearts on it.

9. Find a heart shaped dog toy and spend the rest of the day playing with your dog and his new toy.

10. Don't forget a nice belly rub, or a game of fetch can go a long way to reach your dog's heart too!

These are some fun and loving ideas for Valentines day! However, I will not wait that long to cover my love with my kisses! I will do that tomorrow, when Max, my very handsome and precious friend turns eleven years old. Too bad his fur is black!
